Full-stack Java Software Engineer, 100% Remote

In this position, you will expand the breadth of a game-changing product suite as a part of a development team that includes the company founder.
This is a full time, remote position. Applicants must be located in the U.S. and authorized to work for any U.S. employer. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
In this role, you will:
- Build awesome SaaS software used by hundreds of companies
- Design and develop new products and product features
- Develop and implement algorithms for processing financial data
- Manage DevOps including AWS, deployments, and support
- Identify bugs and solve problems that arise in the operation of our product
- Work as part of a team and have the opportunity to expand your skills
The successful candidate will have:
- 6+ years Java development experience
- 2+ years of front-end development experience using a modern framework
- 2+ years of experience working remotely
- The ability to communicate clearly in English and to work in a team
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- The ability to give and receive feedback in a professional manner
- The initiative and desire to learn and take on new responsibilities
Experience in the following would be ideal:
- PHP
- Machine learning
- OCR
- Eclipse IDE
- Lending industry
