Business Development Representative

MoneyThumb is becoming the most important tool for lenders by helping them get to Yes or No faster than their competition. Our software simplifies a process that has historically taken hours down to just a few seconds. We do this by enabling underwriters to instantly spread bank statements into an underwriting scorecard that includes all essential lending benchmarks.

Position Summary

Responsible for increasing the MoneyThumb client base and revenue by identifying and qualifying prospective new clients. This will involve calling on a combination of warm and cold prospects in an effort to generate qualified leads. The role will be to conduct the opening discussion and sales demo for Lenders and subsequently close the sale. The successful candidate should have experience working in a metrics-based sales environment and be motivated to meet and exceed quotas.
In this role, you will be:

• Researching to identify prospective customers.
• Contacting potential new leads via telephone, email, text or video.
• Enthusiastically communicating value propositions to potential customers.
• Identifying where MoneyThumb’s solutions can help your customer.
• Connecting with key influencers and developing decision-making timelines.
• Building relationships and initiating follow-up to convert leads to customers.
• Managing a sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed goals.
• Maintaining client profiles in CRM and Salesforce
• Performing other duties as needed to further team goals.

• Ability to learn and use new software programs quickly.
• Solid team player with experience working remotely.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-growth, changing environment.

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Business Domain (FinTech) knowledge/experience is a plus.
• SaaS sales experience is a HUGE plus.
• Finance or Lending experience preferred.
